Assessing the Effects of Nitrification Inhibitor DMPP on Acidification and Inorganic N Leaching Loss from Tea (Camellia sinensis L.) Cultivated Soils with Increasing Urea–N Rates

چکیده
The effects of nitrification inhibitor in tea gardens with different urea–N rates have rarely been assessed. For eight months, a glasshouse experiment was conducted to investigate the (3, 4–dimethylpyrazole phosphate, DMPP) on changes soil pH and inorganic N loss. Urea (0, 300, 500, 800 kg ha−1) or without DMPP (1% applied) were added pots that hosted six plants three years old. Next, leaching events 600 mL water after 7, 35, 71 days intervention while samples collected determine N. Averaged across sampling dates, application at an increasing rate reduced lowest values ha−1. Adding increased up 500 Irrespective addition DMPP, gradient loss On overage, decreased losses total N, suggesting higher retention. Therefore, we believe this increase is associated relatively lower proton release from DMPP–receiving pots. This reduction also contributed (NO3−–N). Altogether, our results suggest can reduce maintaining tea–cultivated soils. has significant potential for sustainable management gardens.

Effects of light and darkness on polyphenol distribution in the tea plant (Camellia sinensis L.).
1. Flavonoid synthesis was able to proceed in darkness in young shoots and seedlings of the tea plant, but was increased by light. 2. The initial effect of darkness was to inhibit synthesis of the A ring or its linkage to the phenylpropane moiety of the flavonoid, but later the hydroxylation state of the flavanols was affected, leading to smaller proportions of gallocatechins and of complex leu...

The effects of green tea (Camellia sinensis) extract on mouse semen quality after scrotal heat stress
The objective of this study was to investigate whether or not the adverse effects of heat on sperm quality could be prevented by green tea extract (GTE) administration. Ninety adult male mice were randomly divided to two groups. The scrotum of each animal in the first group was immersed once for 20 min in a water bath maintained at 42 oC (heat group, H) and the second group (control group, C) w...
متن کاملStudy on the antioxidant activity of tea flowers (Camellia sinensis).
Major chemical compounds in different extracts from tea flowers (Camellia sinensis) were analyzed. Distilled water or 70% ethanol extracts were then fractionated with chloroform, ethyl acetate and n-butanol, respectively. Each extract fraction was tested its scavenging activities on 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) and hydroxyl free radicals. The results showed that ethyl acetate fraction o...
متن کاملStudy on lead levels in infusion time of imported green and black tea (Camellia sinensis L)
Background: Nowadays, tea is the most popular and frequently consumed beverages in the world after water. There are some beneficial trace elements in tea such as fluoride, caffeine and essential minerals, although there may be heavy metals in tea leaves which threat seriously human health. Therefore, the main objective of current study was to determine and monitor lead content in imported black...
